Lovelight came back at the Moscone Center in May of '82. I wonder if that is what inspired them to do the Etta James sets.

This show was so cool, Bobby spitting all over Boz Scags. Boz Scags getting freaked by the reaction of the Deadheads when they broke out LL..I suspect he didn't see crowd reactions like that at one of his gigs.

Ha! Missed that one. Thanks for providing the historical accuracy and a little personal perspective. I suspect the place went nuts when they heard the opening notes. I wonder what inspired them to bust it out that night? They didn't do it again until NYE and then waited until '84 to start playing it.
